of groups to enhance clergy
effectiveness and achievement.
WHAT IS THE CLERGY COMMITTEE?
ARE YOU AN ACTIVE CLERGY PERSON who often feels that you are on your own in making the complex decisions and plans required in pastoral ministry today? Do you think that you could benefit from regularly meeting with a group of clergy peers who could share their insights and make suggestions on how you might deal with both personal and ministry issues? If so, THE CLERGY COMMITTEE is for you!
I came into the group unsure of my new role as a senior pastor of a large congregation. The group has been a life saver in helping me learn to manage a large staff, work with the large church dynamic, and not be personally overwhelmed and overworked. I am very grateful. (TMF participant)
ARE YOU A DENOMINATIONAL EXECUTIVE who is looking for new ways to support and increase the ministry effectiveness of the pastors for whom you are responsible? If so, THE CLERGY COMMITTEE is for you!
ARE YOU A RETIRED PASTOR looking for a new challenge in your life? Are you interested in assisting and supporting the active pastors you know and observe in their ministry? If so, THE CLERGY COMMITTEE is for you!
THE CLERGY COMMITTEE IS AN INNOVATIVE STRATEGY TO TRAIN FACILITATORS OF GROUPS TO ENHANCE CLERGY EFFECTIVENESS. Our mission is to equip persons to organize and facilitate groups of religious professionals that meet regularly for a disciplined experience of spiritual, intellectual and professional development. We also seek to guide practicing clergy persons to existing groups in which they could participate.
